BIC Alliance announces ‘Great Things Happen’ campaign
BIC
Alliance has launched a new campaign to help others discover the joy and
opportunity that can come from learning. The "Great Things Happen” campaign
serves to get others motivated about the great things that can happen when we
learn, read and when we connect with one another.
BIC
Alliance CEO Earl Heard has expanded his speaking engagements beyond business
and industry to schools, professional organizations and community colleges
about learning. The company recently added "Mr. BIC” — a 1950 Chevy — to its
team for promotional activities. Mr. BIC made its first official public
appearance at the recent "Touchdown at the Cook Hotel,” a reception at LSU’s
Cook Conference Center and Hotel that included a panel discussion among local
sports journalists about the upcoming LSU football season.
The vintage auto is now available
for rental at private events — great for promotional events, tailgating parties
or any other LSU-themed function. This stylish piece of Americana is an
excellent prop for family or company photos.
"Whether
it is elementary school children wanting bicycles, high school kids wanting
their first cars or adults wanting classic cars, anything is possible if you
work hard, have a creative imagination, practice the Golden Rule and never stop
learning,” said Heard.
Read
more about the great things that can happen when we learn in Heard’s "From the Publisher” letter on page 6 of the
September 2010 issue of BIC Magazine. BIC Alliance welcomes input from
the public about great things that happen when we read books, magazines, other
printed matter, etc. We are also interested in connecting with classic and vintage vehicle owners and others who would like to get involved in the "Great Things Happen” campaign in their respective areas.
Please e-mail Heard at earlheard@bicalliance.com with your
stories or comments.
